Zemenska Planina is situated in northwestern Bulgaria, with its highest peak Mount Tichak (1,295 m). Interesting for the tourists is the Skakavitsa waterfall in the Zemen gorge, whose waters fall from 70 m. In addition, Zemenska Planina has a wide variety of earth shapes, rocky needles, vertical cliffs, stone pyramids, etc. The Zemen monastery is located close by.
