Boboshevo

The Boboshevo Municipality is located in the southeastern part of Kyustendil district in the naturally shaped area - the Boboshevo collar on the two banks of the Strouma River and the Jerman River. It falls on the border of two mountain groups: to the east - the western slopes of Skakavishka Rila Mountain, and to the west - the slopes of Vlahina Mountain and its northern part - Boboshevski Rouen. The municipality comprises 12 population centers with administrative municipal center the town of Boboshevo. Boboshevo town is at a distance of 82 km from Sofia, 41 km from Kyustendil, 18 km from Doupnitsa and 41 km from the Rila Monastery. Boboshevo Municipality is crossed by first-class road Е -79. The railway line Sofia - Koulata goes parallel to main road Е79.

Due to the geographic location of the Municipality and the lack of large industrial enterprises the environment is in good condition and the air, water and soil are clean. The clean environment and the numerous historic monuments are a perfect prerequisite for the development of tourism and sports.
