Sapareva bania

Sapareva bania is a resort village, located at about 16 kilometres from the town of Dupnitsa (in northern foothills of Rila). The mineral water here is the hottest in Europe -103 degrees. A hot geyser springs here, too – a beautiful and rare natural phenomenon. The countryside here is extremely beautiful. The waterfall of Bistritsa River, which is nearby, is worth seeing, and the view from the mounts Goliam and Malak Sivriya and Kabul is impressive. The visit to the cascade of seven waterfalls, the penultimate of which is Ovcharenskiyat with a height of 41 metres, leaves an unforgettable memory.
