It is situated at 65 kilometres from Sofia between the mountains Rila and Sredna Gora with altitude above sea level of 650 metres. The curative mineral springs are the biggest natural resources of the village of Dolna Banya. This village is also famous for its white storks, which are a symbol of health and luck.
