Mount Kom

Mount Kom (2016 m) is the fourth highest peak in western Stara Planina and is the highest in Berkovska mountain.

The Kom-nova chalet is located in the “Gorna koriya” locality and is at 1506 m above sea level. The chalet can be reached by an asphalt road (15 km from the town of Berkovitsa). There is a marked path from the chalet reaching the peak for about 2,30 hours.
