The Museum of History – Batak

The Museum of History in Batak was first open in 1976. The exhibition includes over 500 exhibits from the town’s history – rich photographic and documentary material, original items from the age of the National Revival, the April Epopee of 1876 and the Russian-Turkish war of liberation in 1878.

With the tickets, the visitors may visit Historical museum- Batak Historical church- charnel “St. Nedelia” Balinova house- ethnographic house The tickets are in the Museum’s information center.

Prices: for adults- 2.00 levs for students and retired- 1.00 lev people with disabilities- free

Lecture: in Bulgarian language- 4.00 levs In English and Russian- 6.00 levs Visits after the working time are not allowed. The expositions are under protective measures.
