“Bacho Kiro” cave

The "Bacho Kiro" cave is located some 300 m from the Dryanovo monastery in a vertical limestone rock, which is 25 m high. The items found here confirm signs of people’s life since ancient times. This is the first developed cave in Bulgaria. It is a complex maze on four floors that includes cave galleries and bifurcations with a total length of approximately 3,600 m. Two routes have been developed – a short one (25 min.) and a long one (80 min.).
