Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria

Blagoevgrad is located in the valley of the Struma and is surrounded by the mountains Pirin and Rila.

It is close to the borders with Greece, the Republic of Macedonia and Serbia. The E79 international road and the railway line connecting Central Europe and Greece pass by it. Varosha residential district is very interesting for the visitors of the city because of its unique architecture. Near the city is located the Bodrost ski-run.
